Will the iPad fit with a case?

I have a slim hard case on my iPad 3 and will buy the dock only if I do not have to take it out of the case. Does anyone know if it will fit?

    Sadly the answer is no - I have my iPad 3 (32GB) in an Incipio Feather case &, annoyingly, it doesn't fit whereas my iPad 2 was fine.
