DOES THE IPAD SPEAKER WORK WHEN IN THE DOCK?
When the iPad 2 is in this dock, does it mute the built-in speaker or can it still be heard?

Yes, the speakers are fully functional eaven with the dock connected.

it should but why would you want to? just use your mac speakers and/or pc speakers on your comp itd be a lot easier
