Can I use this cable to play movies from my iPad 2 thru my Honda Odyssey video player?

That won't be a problem as long as your video player has composite inputs, then it will work for that without a problem

should be able to - we just tried it on our pathfinder which has the composite inputs for the DVD player and it worked fine.
