can I stream netFliix with this cable from my iPhone to my hdtv

  • If your HDTV has the Yellow White Red composite connectors on it then yes, you can stream Netflix from your iPhone onto the screen.

    However, I think you'll find the quality of this streaming severely lacking compared to streaming via an Apple TV, a Roku, or even just watching Netflix on your iPhone itself. The cable is really best at showing videos which are actually on your device, synced via iTunes for example. It has a great deal of trouble keeping up with streaming video, and Netflix can turn into a blurry mess.

    Think of it this way: Why would they make a separate device to stream Netflix, if all you needed was a $40 cable?
