  • If you read the fine print on the power module with the USB slot, it is adjustable voltage 110-240 input. Your iPad is dc powered. You should be able to run the iPad connected with the cord as well as charge it. I just got backs from India with my iPhone and charged it every night using their power, 240 volts. You will need to buy an adaptor changing British plug to American plug.
