I need to get the 60W MagSafe Power Adapter, AC wall plug, and power cord for early 2008 MacBook where do I find one? Please help!

A current 60W MagSafe 1 power adapter will work. Even though the design changed from a white plastic T-shape to a metal barrel connector, the power rating and interface is the same.
I'm not sure if this is your issue, but I've seen an issue where the MacBooks had trouble recognizing the barrel style MagSafe adapters, but the issue was resolved by an SMC update. This could be done by plugging in the barrel style adapter, then running software update.- Answered by Kevin H from Durham
