Will this drive 2 27" monitors at 2560x1440, like 2 new Cinema Displays?

The 5870 and 5770 can both power 3 Displays no matter the size or resolution.

Based on the 5870's GPU processing power (about 2 times greater than 4870) and 1GB of fast video RAM (twice as much as 4870), I would guess it could easily drive three 2560 x 1440 monitors.

it can but it will be slow, and unable to game on all three monitors
the 5870 is underpowered nowadays, because it is 2 generations and 3 years out of date- Answered by Spencer B from Tampa
