Steps to take to ugrade MacBook with Intel Core Duo 2 Processor from 10.5.8 to Mountain Lion. I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Hi Everyone -- I'm on a MacBook that I purchased in 2008. I have an Intel Core Duo 2 Processor and I'm currently on 10.5.8. I just want to make sure I've got this right... I need to purchase Snow Leopard first and install it and then go to the Mac App store and upgrade to Mountain Lion. Is that correct?? Thanks in advance! - Shannon

The only thing you're missing is that after installing Snow Leopard, you will need to use Software Update (multiple times) to update it to 10.6.8 before you go to the Mac App Store to purchase Mountain Lion.
