I'm currently running Leopard. Will purchasing the £25 upgrade version of Snowleopard give me a fully working version of Snowleopard?
Just concerned that I'll buy this and I'll then need to buy a full version or something!

Yes, it will do. After the upgrade, you have the full Snow Leopard 10.6.0 running.
