i have 10.6.8 i want to upgrade to 10.7.8 is that possible with machine have 2 duo core 2,60 ghz and 4gb ram

Yes, your Mac will support Lion.
But I am not sure if Lion is still available. The current OS is Mountain Lion and I don't think it supports your Mac.
Snow Leopard is simply available because one needs OS 10.6.8 in order to have App Store to download Lion or Mountain Lion.- Answered by Ewald W from Vancouve
