    No. Snow Leopard does not increase the memory. However, Snow Leopard would like to have more memory to run better. It needs at least 1GB of memory, 2GB or more is better.

    For more memory, you need to install memory modules (physical computer hardware cards) into your Mac. It is a relatively easy process for most Macs. (Only the newest portable Macs with Retina displays can not have more memory installed.)
