Is it supoort iPhone 3G? also, it is a dock connector, is it means that an addition iPad Dock or iPhone Dock is necessary,
so that the iPad or iPhone is able to connect the VGA adapter?

The adapter does not support the iPhone 3G and a dock is not necessary to use it.
