Does it come with a carry case. Are they safe for plane travel?
I've heard that flying with NiMH batteries can be an issue. Just curious.

I am a flight attendant and yes, you can carry your ipad 2 with all accessories, even after market additions such as carrying case both in carry on or checked luggage. Any questions can be cleared by contacting tsa.gov

According to the product page, the charger does not come with a case. As for taking them on travel, that may depend on security restrictions on a per-country basis. However, Apple does say the charger is designed for international use.

No, the item does not come with a carry case. Rules and regulations vary the world over about taking batteries on aircraft, please check with your carrier to see their rules about carrying AA batteries for consumer goods on aircraft.
