Can I create a network between just the iPhone and Airport Express Base Station to stream music to a amplifier.

    It does work with a iPhone 4 and IPad 1.

  • You can do this, however you would only be able to play local songs on the iPhone.

    If you need to stream from the internet, you'll have to make sure the Airport Express is connected to the internet via its ethernet port.

    As far as I know, you can't stream music from your cell network to your phone and then over wifi to the Airport Express.
