You need to download the magictrackpadmultitouch update 1.0.pkg file and run on your mac, after that, search on system preferences and it will appear, with all the graphical instructions to set up the mouse, its the best of apple

Go to Apple Menu > Software Update, then make sure you have the latest OS X update. That should provide you with all of the necessary trackpad synching options you require.

Pair the trackpad with your Mac. Open BlueTooth preference within System Preferences. Click on TrackPad. Do a software update. It should load the Hardware Preference for a track pad. It will restart your computer. You may have to disconnect your trackpad and reconnect. But that should be it. Just talked to AppleCare for my MacMini. Good luck.
