The Magic Trackpad requires Mac OS X v10.6.4 or later to run. All MacBook's or MacBook Pro's running on Mac OS X v10.6.4 or later will work with the Apple Magic Trackpad.

Yes, but you first need to install (1) OS 10.6.4 and (2) a separate trackpad update. We can't post URLs here, so to find the trackpad update, go to Support > Downloads, search for "trackpad," then look for the "Magic Trackpad and Multi-Touch Trackpad Update 1.0" download.

I'm using it with an early Intel white MacBook on 10.6.4. Everything works as it supposed to.

As long as your laptop has Bluetooth and OS X 10.6.4, the Trackpad will work with it. Use it in place of a mouse or in conjunction with one.
