Can I use the remote with my iPhone docked in other docks, like in the Bose radio or the XM Skydock?

After reading the description in the Apple Store, I was just wondering if the remote could control my iPhone when it is docked in my Bose radio or even in my XM Skydock. It would make using the iPhone from across the room a whole lot easier.

  • no you can only dock your ipod on the apple universal dock unless stated on your own dock
