Can you use this keyboard with the iPhone?

I want to know if you can use the Brightness, Volume, and Play controls on the keyboard with the iPhone.

    Yes. On iPhone, go to Settings > General > Bluetooth and turn on Keyboard. Wait for the settings app to search for compatible devices. Tap your device's icon and it should ask you to enter a pin displayed on the screen, followed by the return key. Enter that pin and press return and the window should close automatically, and then the keyboard is connected to the iPhone when you see the blue check mark next to the keyboard's icon. Done.   • All controls mentioned work perfectly with both the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. And contrary to the post below, the new ones (with the 6 squares on the f4 key) work fine as well.

  • Yes, all of the function buttons work as you would expect...mute, volume up/down, brightness up/down, play/pause, and next/prev.

  • I can tell you that the new MC184B/B no longer works to control these functions on an iPad 1 or 2, on the older MC184B/A they did.... Strange I know but true... So make sure before you buy which keyboard it is, look at the F4 key, if it has 6 squares on it, then you have the newer keyboard that won't control brightness, volume or iPod playback.
