In order to use this with the iPad (Wi-Fi model) do you need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network or can you use it with the iPad anywhere?

    You do not need to be connected to a wifi network whilst using the wireless keyboard as the wifi is for internet but you need bluetooth enabled as this is a bluetooth keyboard

  • You can use it with an iPad anywhere, whether or not the iPad is connected to a network. The BlueTooth communication between the keyboard and the iPad is independent of the wireless networking connection between the iPad and the rest of the world.
