To what degree is the display backward compatible with older MacPro's?
I have an old but still very useful MacPro 1,1. Is this display compatible? There are two issues here: First, finding a DVI to MiniDisplay Port adapter, which appear to be available, so I hope this is not an issue. Second, and perhaps more important, will the NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics card be able to drive the 27" monitor?

If the Mac Pro can run Mac OS 10.6.4 there is no problem. The GeForce has 256 MB and that's enough. But I recoment a new card with MDP.
