Does it come with the minidisplay cable plugged in or built in? Also - is it possible to attach it to the monitor bracket?

The input cable is a permanent attachment to the display and cannot be removed from the monitor at all. As for the monitor bracket, I'm not quite clear on what you may be looking at (VESA mount?)
The stand has a portal to keep cable clutter hidden well but as for your original question, the display to Mac/PC cable is permanently attached. Only the power cable can be removed.- Answered by Brian C from Lodi
