Does the shuffle 4th gen usb charger work with 5th gen shuffle

I require a replacement cable for 5th gen shuffle, but the one for sale on the apple store lists only 3rd and 4th gen shuffles as compatible. How dow I get a replacement cable for the 5th gen shuffle or will this one work?

    There is no 5th Generation Shuffle as of today. The latest one but the big button in the middle is the 4th Generation realesed in September 2010. The 2nd Generation Shuffle cables & docks only work with the 2nd Gen. The 3rd Gen & 4th Gen Shuffles use the exact same cables.

  • Your difficulty in finding any accessories whatsoever for the 5th gen shuffle stems from the fact that there are no 5th gen shuffles. Apple's most recent shuffle (the square one that looks like the 2ng gen and has voiceover) represents the product's 4th generation.
