  • The ATI Radeon HD 4870 video card will work with ANY Mac Pro.

    I have it installed in my MacPro1,1 (original Mac Pro) and it is working flawlessly. Much better than the ATI Radeon X1900 XT video card I had purchased with my Mac. I replaced the card because I was getting sick of the wind tunnel effect. LOL

    Also, I was getting random freezes, graphics glitches, lines on my monitors, etc. I think the card was ready to quit soon. Good thing I replaced it - none of the previous problems are occurring.
