i want to charge my iphone in an airplane. What adapter will work?

If the airline has 120 or 220 volt power available then the Apple USB Power Adapter packaged with the iPhone (one inch white cube) will work fine, provided the outlet on the plane takes a US standard two prong plug.
Some airlines now have USB power outlets in the seatbacks.
I flew on a Boeing 777 this week that had both 120v and USB power outlets in the seat backs.- Answered by Frederick M from North Vancouver
