magic mouse required for Lion?

My Mac desktop has the older mouse with the roller ball on top (model A1197).
Will the Lion operating system require the Magic Mouse to perform all the (new)
functions described?

    All the features of lion will be accessible through icons on the dock, or through keyboard shortcuts. However to get gesture support (e.g. Switching between fullscreen apps by swiping fingers sideways) a magic mouse or magic touchpad will be needed.
