Is there a way to enable vertical scrolling only?

In many graphics applications, the side scrolling (panning) feature of the Magic Mouse is very rapid and sensitive, causing one to lose their place during work. I'd like to disable the horizontal scrolling and just use the mouse as a conventional scroll wheel - vertical only.

  • It is enabled by default but you can go to System Preferences to set it up how you want.
