Very Since it is one surface you do not even hear a thing for scrolling and for clicking you only hear the normal click sound that you would find on any mouse.

No, it still makes the clicking noise when pushing down. Basically it replaces the little ball and adds the multi touch function such as back/forward web pages. I love it!
