If your mac is running Leopard or Snow Leopard with the latest updates, this mouse should work with your mac.

The Magic Mouse will work with any Bluetooth Mac that is running 10.5.8 or newer. That means you have to be running the most up to date version of Leopard or a version of Snow Leopard. As long as you have this you will be fine and the mouse will work with your system.
