How long will it last on 2 AA batteries?

  • Actually, I use mine pretty much all day for scrolling through dev code, and while the device is pretty much amazing, I find myself going through a new set of batteries about once every 3-4 weeks. Turn it off at night, or it eats juice.

    It would be much better if the mouse firmware was updated with a sleep function. Compared to my bluetooth keyboard (which I've had the same amount of time and have NEVER changed the batteries) the mouse is pretty power-hungry and I really dislike using so many batteries.

    If you worry about this, there is an off switch underneath. I would guess it has a 3-4 month life with say 5 hours use per day.
