  • You do not need anything else other than the mouse. It will link with your macbook when you turn it on and if you have your bluetooth enabled.

  • Your MacBook Pro has a system internal bluetooth, to set it up, follow these instructions:
    1. Click the Apple icon on the top-left of you desktop
    2.Click "System Preferences".
3.On the "Internet & Wireless" row, click bluetooth.
4.There will be two check boxes near the left top labeled "On" and "Discoverable" click and make sure those two boxes are checked.
    5.Then the rest is self-explanatory.

  • The Macbook Pro comes with bluetooth capabilities built in by default so you shouldn't need a dongle to connect.

  • If you own a MBP that has Bluetooth enabled (And if you own a recent model, you should) then no. You wouldn't need a dongle.
Just enable Bluetooth and it'll detect the mouse automatically.

  • There is bluetooth built right into both your mouse and your MacBook Pro, so there is no need for any connection in the laptops ports.
