I have the last version Logic Studio (Logic Pro 8). What upgrade do I buy to get the new version (Logic Pro 9)? Is this $199 upgrade the right one?
I just want to upgrade from Logic Studio 8 to Logic Studio 9. I have the full version (not Express) of Logic Studio with Logic Pro 8, and I want to buy Logic Studio with Logic Pro 9. Is this $199 "Logic Studio - Upgrade from Logic Pro or Logic Studio" product what I should buy? Also, I would like to know if I'm missing out on anything by getting the upgrade instead of the full version. In other words, does the upgrade still come with all the same books and manuals for Logic Studio 9 that the full version would come with? Thank you very much for your help.

The $199 upgrade is what you want. It comes with everything you need to go from 8 to 9.
However, LP9 does not come with manuals. The manuals are available only "on-line".- Answered by Robert K from Seattle
