I am currently using Logic 5 and would like to upgrade to the lastest Logic software.  I need to know everything that's needed to upgrade.

  • I am pretty sure there is NO upgrade path as Logic 5 is so old and it wasn't even owned by Apple then. The Full Logic 9 package is way beyond just an audio/midi editor that you are suing and the outright purchase price is arguably around what and upgrade of such a pro app would cost anyway. In essence buy it outright you will be glad you did.
