What is the difference between A1280 and MB771LL/A battery? Is the MB771LL/A an improvement over the A1280?

The battery part number is A1280, the MB771LL/A is the model number of your MacBook.

I just got this battery in the mail today, and it indicates Model No. A1280, same as my old battery. The box says MB771LL/A as well as Model A1280. It's probably essentially the same battery, i.e. not an improvement.
It fit my 13" Late 2008 MacBook Aluminum Unibody.- Answered by Nicholas G from Madison
