  • To get the best resolution to your Samsung you need to use the Mini display port to DVI adapter, connect a DVI-D to HDMI cable to the adapter and then connect that to your Samsung. Another way is to use the Mini display port to VGA adapter and then connect a standard VGA cable to the adapter and the other end to your Samsung. Both with detect your Samsung automatically and you will have the ability to run a max reslolution of 1920x1080.

    1920x1080 can travel down VGA but only short distances.

    For lower resolutions you can use the Mini display port to Video adapter, this will only give you SD resoltions
