How do I connect a 2011 27" LED cinema to a MACPRO with DVI port (2007)

I have a MACPRO 2 X 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2 Processors 4 Cores L2 Cache 4MB per processor July 2007 with a DVI port and want to purchase and connect a 2011 27" LED CINEMA with (I believe) a Mini DisplayPort

  • You could try a mini display port to dvi adapter but then yet again it might just not work you may want to look into upgrading your video card with the mini display port so you wouldn't have to change anything
