NO. MacBook Air AND Mac Mini Server only. Due to the way the drive is powered from the computer, only these two work with it.
...shame, I know. As if you want a second drive for other Mac laptops or iMacs (or even separate Windows machines), you have to use a third party manufacturers one instead, as only the MacPro takes more than one optical drive at the same time.- Answered by JS from Hove
