Questions & Answers

i have a new 24" mac (mini DVI) and i want to attach it to my mac book pro (DVI-I). will the cables be long enough? will DVI-D work with the pro?

and should they be male or female. The cables definately don't look long enough for ease of use as the mini DVI jack on the mac is behind it in the centre, but maybe i'm being stupid or something, please email me back,
Phoebe

  • Assuming you either want to plug the MacBook Pro into the iMac so the iMac can be used as an external display for the MacBook, or use the MacBook as an external display for the iMac. Neither of these setups work, neither computer accepts a "Video In" signal, sadly.
