Is the delete key with the "x" in effect the backspace key on this keyboard? If not, is there a backspace key?

Need a backspace key.

    On the Apple keyboard with numeric keypad, the "delete" on the main keypad acts as backspace deleting what is left of it, the "delete with the x in the arrow" (next to "end" on the navigation pad) acts as delete, deleting what is right of it.
