can i use a dell keyboard on my imac?

Dell (as other branded keyboards) are often made by a third party vendor. Many of these USB keyboards will be recognized by the Mac OS and function as a basic keyboard, but it is not guaranteed. The only way to make sure that functions like Eject and volume control work is to purchase either an Apple keyboard or a 3rd party one that is "Made for Mac".
