does the iPod shuffle 2nd generation dock work with the 1st generation?
I know there's a smaller version of the shuffle (2nd generation) but will the dock still work with the regular shuffle.?

The first generation has a USB port right on the unit itself which is used for charging and syncing your music. This plugs straight into any computer, Mac or PC with a built in USB port or USB PCI, PCIe, etc. card.
