Yes it does. I just put mine in my shoelaces. it doesnt move around at all and it stays in place. but that also matters on what shoes you have,

You could get a pair of scissors and cut a small slit on the inside of the tounge of the shoe and then fit the sensor in nicely

I have just bought a pair of Adidas Ride 2 shoes (have never been a fan of Nike runners)and they are set up for the new Adidas MiCoach system. The Adidas sensor is exactly the same size as the Nike+ so is a straight fit.

Yes. You have to purchase a small pouch to put the sensor in and attach it to your laces. Make sure to calibrate.
