Does the Nike Sensor have to be worn on or in the shoe to work? Can I attach it to my clothing and it still work?

From what I know it has to be on the shoe. This will provide the most accurate readings. If you don't have Nike+ compatible shoes you can buy "pockets" that will fit the Nike+ sensor in and can be attached to your shoe laces.
