Hi will this cable fit the new mini dvi port on the new macbook air( june 2009 and newer)?

I don't think it will. I think that the DVI connecter on the Air is a MICRO-DVI not Mini-DVI. The micro is smaller. I hope this helps.

The newer MacBook Air's have the mini, not the micro-DVI port as you mention in your question. One other answer posted here is incorrect in stating that the MacBook Air has a micro- DVI - the new ones do not. According to the Apple Store I visited yesterday, these will not work with the Air with the mini-DVI port. One suggestion was to get the mini-DVI to VGA adapter and connect it to your TV's VGA input port (some newer TVs have this port).
