Will this adapter work in combination with the Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter to output with proper resolution from the 2009 MBP to Svideo?
Currently I'm using a PowerBook G4 to output video to TV via Svideo. Can I produce the same results using these 2 current products and the 2009 MBP?

No. It didn't work for me. It appears that this adapter is DVI-I, while the DisplayPort to DVI adapter is DVI-D. The two won't fit together physically.
