has anyone used this in argentina? i just purchased the pack and there is no indication in the booklet for south america...

i guess i should have been a bit more precise in my question. i think the power is a non-issue as i’ve travelled a lot with my laptop and never encountered a problem. my uncertainty lies with the adapter part... the actual head that plugs into the wall. the diagram in the booklet shows each head with the countries and/or continents listed below where they apply. not all are listed, and argentina or south america is not. i didn’t notice that before buying the kit... as it is called a world adapter. so now i wonder...- Answered by GR from vancouver

It should work provided that your AC adapter (magsafe or otherwise) says that it works for 110-240V.
I was assured that it would work for Chile by the Chilean apple staff, which similarly use a 220V/50 Hz electrical system.
However, I have not tried it myself. Should be safe to use though.- Answered by AS from Atlanta
