I have a PowerMac G4 500 with an ADC output on the graphic card, can I use this to connect to a VGA/DVI monitor display?

I'm new to Mac so at first I didn't know that it was an ADC output. Everyone keep telling me that it was DVI but it is slightly longer an has more pins than DVI connectors. so basically i need something that can connect that ADC output from my graphic card to a VGA/DVI monitor display.

As I read it, this is for situations where you have a DVI port on the back of your computer and want to plug in a monitor with a ADC plug. You want the opposite; and ADC to DVI plug. Good news is they're cheaper and smaller.

  • NO! It's the other way round. What you want was made by Formac and others. Try Googling ADC to DVI or E-Bay get them sometimes under Mac accessories - cables and connectors
