I have a PowerMac G4 500 with an ADC output on the graphic card, can I use this to connect to a VGA/DVI monitor display?
I'm new to Mac so at first I didn't know that it was an ADC output. Everyone keep telling me that it was DVI but it is slightly longer an has more pins than DVI connectors. so basically i need something that can connect that ADC output from my graphic card to a VGA/DVI monitor display.

As I read it, this is for situations where you have a DVI port on the back of your computer and want to plug in a monitor with a ADC plug. You want the opposite; and ADC to DVI plug. Good news is they're cheaper and smaller.

NO! It's the other way round. What you want was made by Formac and others. Try Googling ADC to DVI or E-Bay get them sometimes under Mac accessories - cables and connectors
