Can this portable be used to make a bootable clones. Mac Pro Lion 10.7 with USB 2.0 and FW 800.

  • USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. If you were able to do clones in the past using USB 2.0 disks, then you should be able to do it with this device.

    Extra Note: The increased speed of USB 3.0 is only supported in USB 3.0 ports. Therefore, if you have a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 disk will transfer at USB 2.0 speed.
