    I've got a Belkin case for my iPhone 5 and it fits perfectly. The black lightning cable that comes with it is great - however, I'm now using it for my iPad and the apple white one for the car. The Belkin cable is longer than the apple ones- plus the Belkin one doesn't get stuck in my iMac (like the apple ones do).
    This car charger is outstanding...good luck.
    Also - the black Belkin cable also fit into my iPad with it's case on too.
