    Yes, it is. I'm using the Belkin for my Iphone 5 now.

    The lightning connector is just the new name that Apple has given to the Iphone 5 cable interface. It is completely different from the previous Iphone cable interfaces. In other words you can't use the lightning connector with previous generations of Iphones.

    It took less than a week for my charger to arrive by UPS.
